Airplane Meals
You know each time when you are on an airplane to anywhere, be it a 3-4 hour air ride or a 12-15 hours air ride, you are being served breakfast&lunch/lunch&dinner/dinner&lunch/etc, so that you will not starve throughout your flight. At the same time, you have no obligations to accept the meal/s or say that it is okay, you need not be served the meal. No doubt, air plane meals are the best(and better than home) you can get and it's free. Thing is, if you don't want to eat (it), you don't take the meal. Don't take it just because you paid for it and in the end, not even touch the meal. You don't waste resources like that and no one wants to consume or touch a touched meal. When asked what she wanted, my aunt told the stewardess her choice and when she told me she isn't eating, I just went blank and went straight into my choice of sumptuous meal. You know, every plane meal comes with a dessert and it was some tasty crunchy choc truffle nestle ice-cream which I heavily indulged in after the dinner meal, it was just too good. So, to at least help not waste food, I helped my aunt ate half of her nestle ice-cream, just half. No way for 2 whole ice-cream, the main course was proved just too good. So yes, anyway, I am back from HK, after about i.don't.know....how many hours, prolly about 24 hours since I landed. Didn't buy much and I loved the chilly weather. Rained on the last day but good riddance, were heading back home. Pictures will come later and good end to the weekend for 2 thrilling matches! Out, Marj

Like mother, like daughter
When people say that I resemble or look more like my mother, I usually just have no response or either I just smile away. But this time, I agree more to than just that smile. In fact, not only do I resemble my mother in terms of appearance but also in terms of certain characters, one of which is getting easily emotional. Earlier on upon leaving the house for my aunt's house, just at the door telling my mom goodbye(my dad fetched me), I could feel that I almost want to cry but didn't. I know, that it's only a mere 4 days trip to a country just only a mere 3-4 hours away but being apart from my parents mean that much to me. Just like in December 2006, when both my mom and brother sent me off at the airport (I was leaving to Thailand for Service Learning Trip and it was my first time traveling alone), I cried when I was about to enter the departure gate. Trust me, I had to use about half a pack of tissue to dry up those tears. Even when I was at my flight's departing gate, I was still crying while sitting there waiting. I just couldn't stop crying, it was that bad. But after about a couple of minutes, I stopped. I told myself (even while sniffing) to stop crying, just stop and...I did! It's hard to be away from your parents, even if it's 4 days. It's all about learning to be independent and knowing how to survive without your parents, which is something...that I am still learning how to. Of course, the only one and the longest time I was without my family was the 1.5 weeks (I connected/reunite with my fellow troupe mates about 3 days into their stay) for my Service Learning Trip. But I guess, it's only for that while that you will cry but after awhile, you will forget about it. Oh well anyway, I should get some good sleep for tomorrow. See ya in HK! Later

Friend? Not a friend?
Friend, everyone has friends, all kinds of friends. There are even rankings to friends - best friend, usual friend, the okay friend, etc. A friend, is usually someone you always hang out with, someone whom you might confide your problems with, someone whom you always call and talk to about anything under the sun in your bored time, someone whom you will first share your joy with, someone whom you will always ask to go out with, someone who will always be there for you in your darkest times, someone who will help solve your problems or try his/her best, someone who will sacrifice his/her own time for you than for his/her more important stuff, someone who would always be there for you, and the list goes on and on.. But sometimes it is really hard, to have to sacrifice your time for your more important stuff for your friend, or best friend or close friend, rather. As much as you would want to hang out with your best friend (let's call it best friend from here) and make the best of it, you are unable to because of many many reasons. There are times where I feel that a best friend is not a best friend because of what has been done from either side or both sides. There is a purpose for every (single) thing, which includes why your parents gave you your name and definitely why best friend is meant to be called best friend. We've hardly hang out and having most conversations on msn, which is .... well, good, to catch up with each other and know how each is doing. I'm glad to have to know you for a good 3 years (and counting...) though we'd never hang out much but nonetheless, Happy 20th Birthday to you, my dearest Iffa. I'm truly, deeply sorry for not turning up on your celebration tonight and once again I say, I hope you have had an enjoyable time tonight :) Love you the same and always, I'd hope we could hang out more often. Double the happiness
![]() ![]() Q: What do they both have in common? A: They both scored many goals for their respective team sports. Shasha Vujacic was once again on the scoreboard scoring plenty of shots in the recent 108-104 win against Dallas Mavericks while Ronaldo scored his 30th goal in 30 games, including the one against Lyon this morning! While I didn't watch 82 minutes of the Manchester United v Lyon match, I watched about 2 quarters of the Lakers/Dallas match while...ironing clothes? I was looking out for Vujacic, waiting for him to shower Dallas with multiples of his popular 3 pointers but he played for about 1 quarter and a half, I think. Anyway, am flying off to HK once again this month! Ha ha, I can hardly wait to get out of here now.. Out! Labels: Cristiano Ronaldo pictures, Shasha Vujacic

Never forget
1st March 2008, I scored my first league goal in my first debut for Young Women. A pass from Sun Jie in the attacking half of the field to the left flank and bang, shoot the ball past the keeper, fell on the ground, waited for the ball to roll into the net and bang, the 9TH and final goal of the match with 3 minutes from time, 4 minutes after I subbed Mas. Very happy and great vision from Sun Jie who passed it to me. Thanks to those who splashed the freaking cold water on me after the match, including Abi, ke bab bing bing!
