Courage

I just had the thought of writing about Courage.

As the dictionary put it:
the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery.

In other words, to dare. There are many things that requires Courage. It could be the courage to step up on a stage to face a crowd of 200 people, the courage to overcome what we fear the most, the courage to sit beside a HIV victim, the list goes on. We can always list many things with the word courage but I realize that often many a times we forget this - the courage to say the word of sorry. Everyday, we communicate with friends, families alike. But when it comes to saying sorry(and I mean with sincerity), the word seem to take awhile to come out of our lips. It's as though the word was attached to 50 pounds of gold. We all hate to be in the wrong but there isn't any one who is flawless.

Not only saying sorry. It's also about the courage to speak to new people you are meeting for the first time or just anyone. We often tend to pick what kind of people we want to talk to and be friends with, we choose our friends. It takes courage, to even initiate a conversation with that someone new, to just say a simple word of hi. Everything starts with courage. Talking to someone new is always hard but when the word of just hi is exchanged, everything else is easy peasy.

Courage is only a word but it contains so much depth.

Keep Fighting,
Marjory
