A Good ending

A victorious 3-0 win over the freshies last night was nothing as compared to watching a good movie to end the day and once again I say, we played well, attacked well and we used the flanks alot which is good. The defence, needs to be more proper and can be improved :)

Fatigue and exhausted legs poured down on all of us but we just didn't give up. We pushed and moved, fought and pass, slide and pass, jump and head, ran and shout, get a shot, encourage, motivate, things like that. Every ball passed seems like it was a ball pass in an important and exhilarating match like Real Madrid and Barcelona(!?). The match, indeed, seems like were all playing against Arion FC and to me I felt that were all, as a team, are all ready and geared up to pounce on them come Saturday despite the fact that we are less experienced than them, truth to be honest.

Wearing the captain armband was something special for the night...it seems that I was Roy Keane throughout the match except for the fact that I'm 10 x smaller built than him. BUT, that doesn't mean that I can be easily stepped on! So don't ever even try. Thanks to Kylie and Irna for going the distance to get it for me :) appreciated it alot and I wasn't even expecting it in any way, really, I didn't see it coming. Speaking of which, I have not buy back one to return to Alex since the day I misplaced it funnily but I think he forgot about it already.

The freshies put up a good fight, good play but you can hardly hear loud shouting or calling of names from 95% of them. (Read: only looking for ball)Only 2 or 3 were calling for the ball. That shouldn't be happening and I believe they should remember their team mate's names already, at least half. As far as I'm concerned, I was the only one shouting above the rest in our team(cheh cheh). Nevertheless, it is good to see the amount of passion, enjoyment and love for the game in them because that is what the game of football is all about. Without the 3 elements, you cannot kick football.

Good to know them, meet them and see the drive in them. Some were new to football, some have played before, some .. just play for the fun of it. I won't say that those who is playing for the first time are damn noobs but more of, learn something new in life and if desire seeks you, continue learning and getting into that something new. Everyone learns new things, agree? Be it sports or subject or laws.

Last training today before our match on Saturday... I can hardly wait. It's a mixture of both feelings of nervous-ness and excitement. Whatever the matter is, were still going ahead and get ready and show them we are opponent-worthy, right, team? Show them whacha got, don't let them scare us or make us feel inferior, don't. We can do it team, we can.

I really had a good game and good training last night...perhaps one of the most less-exhausting training since it's more theory based. It was another good ending to the day. I cannot wait for the next training already. Every training to me is something that I cannot miss out on because...I love us all seniors and I enjoy each and every moment. Were all gay and we all know and we laugh about it.

Thank you team so much.

With lots of ♥,
Marjory
